繰り上げ構文って何？
繰り上げ構文とは、
It …that SV
⇅
S …to Vの書き換え
のことを主に言います。

（※SVthat節 ⇔ SVO to be Cもあるけど、この記事では扱いません）
特徴は、
- that節内の主語が繰り上がる
- it~thatからto Vへ変化する
例文で見てみよう
It is said [that he is kind].
⇅
He is said to be kind.
先ほど紹介した特徴
- that節内の主語が繰り上がる
- it~thatからto Vへ変化する
を考えてみましょう。
① that節内の主語heが繰り上がってitに代入されています。
② itにheが入ることで、that節の主語がなくなってしまったので、[thatSV]が[to V原形]に変化しています。
thatは接続詞なので、thatの後ろにはSVが来ないといけません。
しかし、Sがitに代入されてしまったので、thatの後ろからSが消えてしまったので、that SVという形を維持できなくなりました。
Vだけを維持するには、to Vと相性が良かったということです。
時制に注意
時制のズレがない場合
特に気にせずに書き換えをすればよいです。
現在形と現在形
It is said [that he is shocked].
He is said to be shocked.
過去形と過去形
It was said [that he was shocked].
He was said to be shocked.
時制にズレがある場合
以下の時制にずれがある場合は、to Vの部分が、to have Vppという形になります。
現在形と現在完了形
It is said [that he has been shocked].
He is said to have been shocked.
現在形と過去形
It is said [that he was shocked].
He is said to have been shocked.
過去形と過去完了形(大過去)
It was said [that he had been shocked].
He was said to have been shocked.
以上の時制のずれがあるパターンは、以下の注意点を頭に入れておきましょう。
to VのVは原形なので、
(×) to had Vppという形は有り得ません。
to have Vppで、toの後ろは必ずhaveとVppです。
